Bratislava at a Glance

Bratislava's charming old town and exciting riverfront development give tourists plenty of opportunities for sight-seeing and dining. The city is also fortunate to be close to nature and it is quite easy to slip out of the city limits for instant mountain biking, skiing, hiking and swimming in the Carpathians.

Enjoy the year round sights in Bratislava's old town. During the summer, people spill out onto sidewalk cafes to enjoy their lunches or a long, lingering evening meal. Voices rise and clatter off of the old, stone buildings and cobblestones click underfoot.

Bratislava also enjoys close proximity to the beautiful Danube. Watch shipping traffic head up-river as you sip morning coffee or run along the river front. Rent a bike to enjoy miles of trails in the Danube basin. Come in for an evening of fine dining and some of Slovakia's delicious fruit brandies. You've earned the rest.
