Paraguay at a Glance

Paraguay's rich natural beauty, strong at times European-vibe, and its friendly welcoming people make this hidden gem a fun place to visit.

Explore the rain forest filled with monkeys, butterflies, insects and huge, green plants. Hire a guide and hike along side raging rivers and through dripping underbrush. If you like drier exploration, head north and ride the Rio Paraguay or spot Mennonites mixing with local indigenous populations. This remote, wild area is filled with wildlife and breathtaking solitude.

As you travel Paraguay you'll stumble on charming colonial villages dressed in bright paint. For a colonial gem and some urban activity, visit the capital of Asuncion. Shaded squares, intimate coffee shops and old Spanish buildings give this city a quiet charm. If you look further you'll find all the restaurants, nightlife, music and shopping that you could desire.
