San Diego at a Glance

San Diego has one of the steadiest climates in the United States. With blue skies, constant sunshine and plenty of sandy beaches you've got a recipe for a relaxing trip.

During the summer San Diego shifts into high gear. A stylish, high powered downtown bustles with people seeing and being seen. Clubs, restaurants and bars host a fashionable crowd. On the beach skate boarders roll down boardwalks, surfers suit up and beach beauties lay under umbrellas.

When not on the beach or surfing, visitors can see the San Diego Zoo or Sea World . Golfing, dining, sailing and other activities are popular. While the cruise industry is in decline, San Diego is home to many cruise ship operations. Whale watching, dinner cruises and other shorter trips remain popular.
