Deep in the heart of Angkor lies Cambodia’s ancient Preah Khan. The temple ruins are known for the twisting kapok (ceiba) trees that have grown on top and around the buildings, causing them to crumble even more. The trees’ buttress roots can grow up to 10 feet in diameter.
